Lunch on Noble

Lunch on Noble was established in 1998 by volunteers from Trinity Church. In the beginning, sack lunches were provided for a handful of people.  Today, hot lunches are served five days a week to twenty to forty people.  Anyone who wants one is also given a sandwich meal to take away.

Every year, about 6,500 hot meals are served, and more than 4,500 sandwich meals are provided.

Lunch on Noble is hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church, but volunteers come from all over our community.  About sixty people prepare and serve meals every month.  We are especially appreciative of Mercy Hospital Logan County, Mulhall-Orlando 4H club, Zion Lutheran Church, and Community Church who frequently provide the meals.  Many local churches, community organizations and restaurants also donate food.

Lunch on Noble is supported entirely by donations.  We have received generous gifts over the past several years from the Guthrie Ministerial Alliance, WalMart, and the Friends of the Guthrie Museum Complex.  Many individuals and churches donate regularly as well.

Tax-deductible donations may be made to Lunch on Noble, Trinity Episcopal Church, 310 East Noble Avenue, Guthrie, OK  73044
